Mark S. Gillespie
Mark
S. Gillespie is a co-founder of The Denmark Group, Inc., and has over 30 years
experience in manufacturing, manufacturing systems, materials management, and
operational systems design. He has worked in project management, applications
consulting, and has held senior management positions in professional services
for several companies. In his current role, Mark ensures delivery of solutions
that leverage advanced manufacturing performance improvement concepts and
methodologies, such as Key Performance Indicators and Operational Improvements.
Mark has extensive
experience & knowledge in implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems, Total Quality Management, & JIT concepts and techniques, and
Automatic Identification & Data Collection (bar coding) systems.
He has completed conceptual designs for business applications, led
workflow/business process re-engineering projects, and has developed strategic
information technology plans.
Mark’s career
has spanned a broad cross-section of industries including aerospace &
defense, communications, electronics, industrial and consumer products and
professional services. He has a BS degree in Purchasing and Materials Management from Florida State University and a
certificate in Hazardous Materials Management from University of California - Irvine. He is a certified consultant in the implementations of Point.Man
(formerly MAPICS ERP for Extended Systems), and is a member of Manufacturing
Association of Central Florida
